What are Veneers?

A veneer will completely cover the surface of a front tooth, hiding any imperfections. We can provide veneers made from porcelain or from tooth coloured composite resin.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are custom-made in dental laboratory and are a little like false finger nails for teeth. They are bonded onto the teeth and are strong and durable. With porcelain veneers, our dentist will need to prepare your teeth by removing a small amount of enamel from the front surface, before taking an impression of your teeth. This preparation ensures the veneer feels and looks natural.

Composite Resin Veneers

With composite resin veneers, the material is applied directly to your tooth in the dental chair. Our dentist will carefully shape your composite resin veneer and it is polished to look very natural. Composite resin veneers are faster and more cost-effective than porcelain veneers, but aren’t as durable. Both types of veneers can produce impressive results.
